For some, happiness means acquiring acres of properties, attending extravagant parties, or shopping without limit. But for Filipino families living in impoverished communities, happiness means sharing a simple table with the whole family after uttering a thanksgiving prayer.

Eating together is a day-to-day habit for most Filipino families. In 2017, Cherry Mobile share Noche Buena packages to 2,000 families nationwide to bring families together on Christmas, making Yuletide season more special. The road to deliver this happiness was not easy because the CSR team, together with partner organizations and deals, once again conquered the tides and hiked ridge to ridge in areas of Mt. Province, Kalinga, Isabela, La Union, Cebu, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, and Bukidnon.

There were also two (2) hospitals that benefited from this project – Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital and Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, both catering to indigent patients from Binondo, Tondo, and Quiapo. Among the beneficiaries cum volunteers are MSN scholars from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The 12 Gifts of Christmas was made possible in partnership with the Philippine Task Force for Indigenous People’s Rights, Cordillera Peoples’ Alliance, Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish (San Gabriel, La Union), Graphics All in Store, Department of Social Welfare and Development – Region VI, Municipal Government of Daanbantayan (Cebu), Municipal Government of Cagayan de Oro, Oro Graphics Inc. and CNI Youth Organization.
