In celebration of its 447th year, the City of Manila, together with MARE Foundation, crowned this year’s Miss Manila with 32 beauties vying for the crown and title.
Kathleen Joy Paton, who also won the Miss Teen International title in Thailand when she represented the Philippines, was crowned as the new Miss Manila. She will receive a prize package of Php1,000,000.00 (Php500,000 pesos in cash, and Viva Management contract worth Php500,000).
During the coronation night, she was also hailed as the first Miss Cherry Mobile. She received a total of Php50,000 in cash, Php50,000 worth of smartphones, and a contract as the newest online ambassador of the leading local mobile phone brand.
Joining Paton on her reign as the new Miss Manila are: Malka Shaver (1st Runner Up), Paulina Labayo (2nd Runner Up), Kristi Banks (3rd Runner Up), and Agatha Lei Romero (4th Runner Up).
The grand coronation night of Miss Manila 2018 was held last June 26, 2018 at the Reception Hall of Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
