Cherry Mobile as the leading Filipino mobile brand advocates family strengthening endeavor.
Three thousands (3,000) indigent families nationwide were delighted to receive unexpected Noche Buena packages and solar lanterns. Dubbed as “12 Gifts of Christmas”, this special project is done annually to help strengthen family bond–a valuable Filipino culture that Cherry Mobile has promoted.
Having a decent meal to share with family members in a well-lighted home is a whole new level of experience that made Christmas more special and something to cherish for a lifetime. This project is a community outreach activity to less fortunate families particularly those living in far flung areas where assistance rarely comes in. What further brightened the gift-giving activity was the inclusion of Solar Lanters courtesy of Sparklight Inc. This helped aid the community residents who don’t have access to electricity.
The project brought joy to different communities for 4 years now, as one way of giving back to communities that have contributed to Cherry Mobile’s success.
Since this project was launched in 2013, several companies within Cherry Mobile supply chain including government and civil society have supported the project. Truly, we can help people’s lives when we bring work together.
